The most recent collection from Tokyo-based streetwear pioneers Neighborhood celebrates the label’s longstanding engagement with Japanese denim, both as a history and practice. Rich in indigos even beyond the collection’s denim pieces, the season also presents a number of high-quality tees, both new styles and reinvigorated classics.
The Neighborhood In My Eyes C T-Shirt indulges the label’s penchant for cinematic graphics by way of a Neighborhood box logo truncated to ‘Neighbor.’ With a black background, the letters are filled by a photographic print of a man looking out at us fearfully. The words ‘Masters of Legalized Confusion’ are screen printed underneath, completing the allusion to the proliferation of surveillance in modern society. Here in the classic white colourway, this regular-fit, short-sleeve tee also features a ribbed crew neckline and Neighborhood logo screen-printed on the back.
