While hard-rock may not often be associated with streetwear, Neighborhood cast a wide net when it comes to subcultural influences and potential collaborators, with reverence for any who have expressed unity of vision and purposefulness. With this in mind, it’s easy to understand why the label would be drawn to legendary British hard rock band Motörhead. Influencing subsequent generations of artists across punk and metal genres, this collaboration pays homage to the band’s frontman, the late Ian “Lemmy” Kilmister, reimagining the band’s iconic “war-pig” skull motif with one of the label’s most detailed ceramic incense chambers yet and select pieces of apparel.
Neighborhood Incense chambers have become one of the most coveted lifestyle products produced by any contemporary streetwear label. Now imitated by many, the longstanding and mysteriously named “Booze” incense chambers feature designs inspired by a range of the label’s influences. Crafted in Japan from Chinese Kaolin clay as per traditional Chinese pottery practices, and replete with intricate detailing, Neighborhood chambers offer an alluring way to burn incense in any interior environment.
The Neighborhood x Motörhead Booze CE-Incense Chamber features the Motörhead “war-pig” tusked skull motif atop a tiered pyramid. The back of the pyramid slides out to reveal an open palm to hold your incense as the smoke billows out of the war-pig’s mouth, open as if mid-scream. Here in the Blue colourway, this incense chamber features all-ceramic construction.
