The new collection from Paloma Wool is the second to be designed and produced under pandemic-era conditions of social isolation and uncertainty. Recently presented in typically conceptual manner at Barcelona 080—Barcelona Fashion Week’s second digital iteration—the collection is entitled ‘Friendship is Universal.’ Individually and as an assemblage, the pieces that form the collection speak to interconnectedness. Whether in the collection’s collaborations, such as that with artist Júlia Esqué, or the relationships with the label’s manufacturers across Europe, relationships have always been a foundational pillar for the label, but have become even more integral since last year. With a sunny, outward-looking colour palette and detailed, psychedelic prints, Paloma Wool manage to bring their focus close to home while continuing to celebrate and expand their global family, just as they did with the Zoom dance parties the label held during lockdown in collaboration with some of their favourite DJs.
The Paloma Wool Rory Top is a cropped long-sleeve lightweight top with an all-over seasonal print created in reference to the label’s lockdown Zoom dance parties.
Model is 175cm and wears size S.
