Few 90s pop culture figures were as controversial as Marilyn Manson. Hailing from the southern state of Florida, Marilyn Manson, the band and its leading figure, drew the ire of conservatives across America for their sacrilegious lyrics that some claimed promoted drug-use and violence. At one point, three US states even passed legislation banning them from performing at state-owned venues.
Given their own propensity for courting controversy, it is easy to see why Alex James and Vlad Elkin, founders of LA-based label Pleasures, would be drawn to such a figure. This long-awaited collaboration represents the latest in a long line of collaborations with cult musicians.
The Pleasures x Marilyn Manson Antichrist Long Sleeve in Red is a classic heavyweight long-sleeve tee cut from soft cotton jersey. This piece is dedicated to celebrating what many consider Marilyn Manson’s breakthrough and most controversial album, “Antichrist Superstar.” This long-sleeve tee features the alternate cover art for the album printed to cover the whole back and the album’s tracklisting on the left arm. Other features include the Pleasures logo printed along the right sleeve, printed branding on the front, and ribbed cuffs & crew neckline.
Made from 100% cotton.
