Rockabilly has long been a source of inspiration in Japan. Though the dancers in Yoyogi park may be its most visible proponents, for many years, the subculture’s influence has been felt more broadly across Japanese streetwear. No label has been more dedicated to the exploration of rockabilly aesthetics than WACKO MARIA.
In their latest collection, this dedication culminates in the WACKO MARIA Two-Tone 50s SS Shirt in Orange and White. Inspired by the bowling shirts adopted by the rockabilly subculture, this short-sleeve shirt features a two-tone panel construction with minimal visible stitching. Other features include an open collar, straight hem, front button closure, and a small welt chest pocket.
Made in Japan from 100% rayon.
